Training together - working together
Western Australia is poised for significant economic growth, stemming from the State’s vast resources endowments, making now the time to plan with Aboriginal people to ensure that they can enjoy the opportunities and participate in the growth of our economy.
Boosting participation rates of Aboriginal people in a ‘skilled’ labour market will require collaboration and partnerships; with Aboriginal communities, industry, employers, training providers and government.
Improving training which leads to sustainable employment for Aboriginal people is the top priority for the Hon Peter Collier MLC, Minister for Training and Workforce Development. The Training together – working together initiative is aimed at achieving better outcomes from training for Aboriginal people.
