Training together - working together
Western Australia is poised for significant economic growth, stemming from the State’s vast resources endowments, making now the time to plan with Aboriginal people to ensure that they can enjoy the opportunities and participate in the growth of our economy.
Boosting participation rates of Aboriginal people in a ‘skilled’ labour market will require collaboration and partnerships; with Aboriginal communities, industry, employers, training providers and government.
Improving training which leads to sustainable employment for Aboriginal people is the top priority for the Hon Peter Collier MLC, Minister for Training, and your input is crucial. Your contribution will be fed into the Training together – working together committee working groups and will help to develop the initiative to achieve better outcomes from training for Aboriginal people.
If you would like to express your views to the committee on the Training together – working together initiative please email the Office of the State Training Board - ostb@trainingwa.wa.gov.au
