November 13 Event - Broome Consultations

The State Government's Plan for Jobs places emphasis on creating jobs at every opportunity, including creating apprenticeships and traineeships. The State Training Board is leading consultation sessions in Perth and regional WA to ensure vocational education and training meets the skill requirements for the State.

The Chair of the State Training Board, Mr Jim Walker, will be travelling to Broome on Monday 13 November 2017 and hosting a consultation session for local and surrounding district businesses, industry stakeholders, apprentices and trainees on how we can grow apprenticeships and traineeships in Western Australia.

Employers and industry stakeholders will be invited to give feedback and suggestions on how the State can grow apprenticeships and traineeships and what services you would like to access through your local TAFE.

The consultation session will be held at the North Regional TAFE Broome campus from 11.00 a.m. to 2.00 p.m.
